Rich Santoro - My Story
I broke into television as a writer-producer of industrial training videos. Then, I backpacked around the world seeking screen-worthy stories.
​
In Hiroshima, Japan, I met atomic bomb survivors and they inspired "After the Cloud Lifted," my first documentary which won first place at the Chicago International Film Festival.
​
I also worked for 12 years as a writer and video producer for the Christian Broadcasting Network.
​
Today, I focus on feature films. "Band-Aid Jesus" is a new comedic drama about a little girl who befriends a life-sized crucifix and decides to heal Jesus. It's a funny story about faith, prayer, miracles, and the scary challenges of a strained mother-daughter relationship.
​
"Band-Aid Jesus" will be released in 2024.
